Fundraising Poster Sale

March 1st, 2008 from 5pm to 7pm at the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative, 4642 N. Western Ave. (773) 293-2070. All posters $20 each CASH ONLY Funds go to production for the feature documentary, Proceed and Be Bold, a film about the life and work of letterpress printer Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. The art of Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. is known internationally as bold, colorful, and apologizing to no one. In this exclusive sale of the posters of “a humble negro printer,” as Amos calls himself, you can take home a piece of his “art for the people” and support the documentary film being made by local Chicago filmmakers.
